Who we are
The Shire of Ravenslake is a group within the Society for Creative Anachronism, or SCA. The SCA is an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe. Our "Known World" consists of 19 kingdoms. Members, dressed in clothing of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, attend events which feature tournaments, royal courts, feasts, dancing, various classes & workshops, and more.

Where we are
The Shire of Ravenslake is made up of SCA folk of Lake and McHenry Counties in Illinois in the Northwestern suburbs of Chicago. We are a Shire of the Middle Kingdom in the Midlands Region.
